Greetings friends!

Just wanted to keep you all up-to-date on my plans for this missions trip.  God has really been opening doors and putting things together.  Every day I am more confident about what will take place this summer and my excitement grows daily.   There is less than a month before I leave, and over half of my support has already been raised!  Praise God!  I will be speaking at my home church on April 28 and I hope everyone can come so I can answer any questions you might have.  It looks like I will have a busy summer that will take all my energy, and leave only God's strength to keep me going.

During my time in Africa, I will be involved in three main activities.  My primary undertaking is working with street girls, part of HCI-Kenya's mission.  This will take at least eight weeks of my time.  Then if Congo is safe enough, I will take a two week break from HCI and travel to Goma.   Here I will stay with a friend while helping the relief effort for the victims of the recent volcano explosion.  The last thing I will do before I leave for the US is travel back to Daystar University and spend a week helping with the orientation program for new students and for American students studying on the same program I was on last year.

As I said before, my excitement for the trip is ever growing and I know that God will show me great things.  I ask that you continue to keep me in your prayers.

Much love.
