Greetings my friends,
I thank you for your prayers for my journey, as I have arrived safely in Kenya with no problems. Both of my flights were right on schedule and I even had time for a layover in Amsterdam where I met many Africans who wanted to take me home with them. I arrived in Nairobi at 1:30pm (Chicago time) on Thursday and my luggage made it safely and customs did not even glance twice at me. My friends were awaiting me and after many hugs I returned to their home in which I will be staying for a few weeks during my orientation. We are making plans for our trip to Goma and trying to decide what the best way to assist the people will be. I am slowly adjusting to the new time and I was the last person awake this morning. My host family is grateful that you have sent me and wish to send their greetings to you all. Please continue in your prayers for the people and I.
